Punta Brava: Tiger Woods' First Oceanfront Golf Course.

Renowned architects Ricardo and Victor Legorreta are leading an international team of architects, planners, conservationists, and artists to craft a private golf and ocean club experience. Punta Brava, meaning wild point, has been envisioned as an escape to the ends of the earth. Seventeen tees or greens sit on the ocean, with eight shots playing over water. Many holes play along the water, including the 16th, 17th, and 18th holes.

Sustainable Architecture

Led by renowned architects Ricardo Legorreta and son Victor Legorreta, Punta Brava will feature an integrative design approach. The sustainable modern architecture will be deeply rooted in the landscape while utilizing indigenous materials, green roofs, and native plants. The architecture features outdoor living spaces for year-round climate. The gardens of Punta Brava emerge from the traditions of European design. Legorreta+Legorreta will design the clubhouse, ocean club, spa and wellness center, and private lodging. Fernando de Haro of Abax, and A5 Arquitectura, will design the villas and estate homes.

The La Llave Society

Punta Brava's eco-exploration program for residents and guests. Named for Dr. Pablo de La Llave, (1773-1833), a Mexican naturalist, the program offers many excursions and activities, designed to teach about the environment through direct interaction. Whale-watching tours create encounters with several species during their migrations. The art on display in the public spaces at Punta Brava is a collection of works by leading and emerging contemporary Mexican artists, curated to complement the spirit and experience of Punta Brava.
